Flax Lily, Dianella tasmanica 'Variegata'
Flax lily is a near perfect plant.  Relatively new and very popular, flax lily is tolerant of drought, has few pests, and leaves rarely dry-out.  It has a similar appearance to the aztec grass, but this plant is far superior.  Plant in full sun to partial shade.

Flax lily can be planted in mass groupings for an attractive groundcover.

Flax lily is planted near smaller liripope and sprengeri foxtail fern in the perennial design.
