Podocarpus, Podocarpus macrophyllus
Podocarpus is another shrub that looks good as a formal hedge.  The small pinnate leaves give it an interesting texture.
A versatile plant, podocarpus can be shaped into different forms and heights.  Here podocarpus is kept at around two feet below the Holly tree.  Podocarpus is used as well in the far back hedge.  There it is maintained at a height of four feet with a small width.
